The Lawyers’ Club of San Francisco American Inn of Court (LCSF Inn of Court) is the San Francisco chapter of the American Inns of Court, whose vision is a legal profession and judiciary dedicated to professionalism, ethics, civility and excellence. The Inn’s mission is to inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education and mentoring.
At the LCSF Inn of Court, we uphold the vision and mission of the American Inns of Court by providing for professional growth through regular Inn meetings, smaller pupilage teams reflecting varied experience levels and practices and opportunities for socializing and networking through program research, preparation, performances and the fun of sharing in a job well done. Within these experiences, mentoring is foremost allowing for associates and students’ interaction with more experienced attorneys and members of the court. In order to reconnect with the profession, the format also provides the opportunity for those sharing their experience to continue to learn from those new to the profession.
Our Inn chapter is consistently recognized as a Platinum-Level Inn.
Members of the LCSF Inn of Court are a warm and welcoming group to both seasoned and new members; students, judges and experienced attorneys are all genuinely welcomed to participate.
Regular meetings are scheduled September through May, excluding December. Typically, meetings are held on the evening of the second Wednesday of the month. Venues include the San Francisco Superior Court and legal firms.
In August, we host a members’ reception at one of our members’ firms to kick off the year. Lastly, we have a great tradition at our May Gala where we feature a silent auction of “experiences” donated by our Inn members which include creative, personal and coveted events such as Warriors or Giants tickets, themed dinner parties, fine wines, getaways and much more!
